Did you know Kate Hudson has an album on the way? Neither did I, until today, or rather Today — so I guess the morning show pap walk is doing its job. She opened 2024 with a melange of designers: Etro, Gucci, and Marni, whose furry coat Catherine at Red Carpet Fashion Awards smartly noted is like an echo of her Almost Famous character. This whole thing actually feels like something Penny Lane might have put together if we’d gotten to see her grow up, and I like the fact that it doesn’t feel heavily STYLED, so much as ASSEMBLED. There’s something relaxing about that on a Friday.
