I’m always delighted by the prospect of a Nicole Kidman press tour, and, friends, this fall we get AT LEAST two: Babygirl, which the AP tells me is “an erotic thriller about a female CEO who begins an affair with a younger, male intern,” for which she was in Venice, and The Perfect Couple, a Netflix series co-starring Liev Schreiber, based on an Elin Hilderbrand novel and also starring Meghann Fahy, Dakota Fanning, and my beloved Donna Lynne Champlin of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, who should be in everything, none of whom attended the London premiere but who I assume will pop up for the American one? Or is this another It Ends With Us and we’ll later find out Nicole Kidman has alienated everyone by allowing Keith Urban to change the entire script into a musical and she’s using the promo tour to launch her own brand of toothpaste called Open Wide? (I jest. NICOLE WOULD NEVER.)
Anyway, Nicole’s wardrobe for the weekend involved a lot of fabric menacing her face….drawing attention to her teeth??? You be the judge!!
