The Best Man came out in 1999, with a holiday-themed sequel in 2013, and now Peacock is running a limited series wrapping up the characters’ stories. It’s quite a cast and I’m impressed they got them all together for ten episodes. This is only the second time we’ve seen Nia out and about since her fiancé was fired by the Boston Celtics for having an affair with a subordinate, and the first time she’s appeared since news of their breakup. She is no less chill and composed than she ever has been, which is admirable, and honestly is probably relieved people will be asking her about something OTHER than all that. I hope the show is a smash hit and that Nia is showered with money and accolades and dates with hot, hot people. ALL of the hot people.
