We usually do a best-and-worst of the Met Gala, but for some reason, this year’s felt really hard to handle the way we usually do. Normally, we go with our guts, and then sprinkle in some gowns y’all liked more than we expected you to, and put it to a vote. I’m not sure if it’s the particular theme this year, or the way it was executed, but culling things was more of a challenge. Rather than do a vote or any kind of official selection, I randomly decided to toss up my personal favorites (and later, least favorites) from this year’s Gala while then inviting y’all to make your own Top Whatever lists in the comments. I meant to have this be a Top Ten, but… I’m never good at being succinct, am I?
