Lest anyone accuse her of being addicted to solid colors, Viola Davis picked this lovely three-tone Jenny Packham, which I find totally enchanting. My only potential beef with it is, it MIGHT be sitting a touch low. Right? All of that would look better a skosh higher. I can’t help looking at it and wanting to tinker — one side seems to have slipped a hair lower than the other, for example, which is a rarity for anything on Viola Davis. She NEVER trips up on fit. Having said that, by some miracle she still looks fabulous in it, and the sight of her brings me deep and abiding joy. So thank you, Viola. Even when things aren’t quite 100 percent, you’re still a solid A.
