Michael Kors opened a new store on Rodeo Drive, and celebrated with a party at the iconic Canters Deli (not at all on Rodeo Drive) that was catered by Spago (NEARER to Rodeo Drive). I am sure the Canters folks were fine with this, but there is something very weird to me about being like, “We want to use your restaurant for this party, but NOT YOUR CHEFS. OR YOUR FOOD. AT ALL.”
