I kind of love that picture above. It’s like her facial expression is saying, “hello, I decided to really COMMIT to eye shadow this evening.” And why not? How better to celebrate the likelihood that one’s superhero movie is about to be a big hit than by taking some eyeshadow risks?
Her dress, on the other hand, though sparkly, is fairly risk-free, and right in her general wheelhouse:
Which is not to say that it’s not also quite good on her, because it is: elegant, yet SHINY, which is basically the holy grail for formal looks, as far as I am personally concerned:
So sparkly, so soothing.
