This — the runway show for the final collection that Karl Lagerfeld worked on prior to his death a few weeks ago — seems like it was an emotional undertaking for many involved. I thought Fashionista’s reporting on it was quite good; apparently, Anna Wintour started the standing ovation at the end, which is all I personally hope for when I finally shuffle off this mortal coil. The good news is that, my goodness, this collection was good — SO many fantastic coats and slouchy trousers.
