Part two of Wednesday’s second season lands next week, and it stars Lady Gaga in her whispered-about role as a Nevermore professor. I am happy for them but have not enjoyed season two and in fact abandoned it midway through one of the early episodes. I don’t even know which one anymore. I am so TIRED of it. My low-stakes rant lately is the Wendy’s “Meals of Misfortune” with disgusting-looking sauces that I’m sure taste fine but which look like purple glue. I get that being like, “It’s excruciating, enjoy the torture,” is Wednesday’s thing, but as a marketing strategy I could not be less interested!!! Sell actual tasty-looking food!!!
Anyway, Jenna Ortega is doing the same grungy surly thing she always does for this show — perfectly pleasant while being interviewed but sullen in pics — and Lady Gaga just looks like herself on a regular old Thursday, buying vegetables.
