This set of photos was headlined on Getty Images as Katie Holmes x Boden, which would imply that Katie Holmes has done a collab with Boden, but I don’t think that’s the case and neither does the Boden website. Informative Caption reads,”Katie Holmes is seen running errands in a Boden sweater on January 25, 2026 in Los Angeles, California,” and the photo credit is Michael Simon/Getty Images for Boden, so this is DEFINITELY Boden spon-con. I appreciate the disclosure, and I don’t hate this pairing of celebrity and brand at ALL — although if you’re going to own it (as you should), it almost feels too under-styled. I’d have pushed the naturalism down a little and upped the glam a tiny bit.
In fact, I sort of want a complete rundown of the logistics here. Did Katie call this photographer when she was heading out and he met her on the street and they both pretended this whole thing was accidental? Or did they just show up together, snap a couple of pics, and then take off? (It reminds me of the exclusive People “paparazzi” photos of Katie’s Dawson’s Creek costar Michelle Williams when she announced a pregnancy; that was STAGED and so be it.) Did Katie spend the whole day in the sweater, actually running errands, or was she “running errands”? Is that coffee cup empty? (The coordinating sleeve is cute.) Was there a reason she chose that specific sweater, because I sort of prefer the other colorway, which would have made for a cute Valentine’s Day jaunt? Like, “Katie Holmes is seen celebrating Valentine’s Day in a Boden sweater.” (Speaking of disclosure, those are affiliate links! It’s a cute sweater!) Did anyone think to tell her that, when glancing at this quickly, the phone + sunglasses in her other hand looks like she’s carrying a stapler? Would anyone other than me also be interested in Katie Holmes x Swingline Staplers? Because we all do love office supplies. Things to ponder.
