There are lots of patterns to celebrate from last night, and also lots of Grammys for Jon Batiste, who seemed astounded that he won Album of the Year. His performance was a joyful high note on an all-around fun night, as was his speech. And to think, we hear him play things for free every night on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Life is good.
