None of this really competes with her Barbie/Elle Woods homage, but it’s still fairly committed. I don’t know what the world holds next for Jessica Simpson. Not a movie. She should avoid reality TV. Can she compete with the Ariana Grande pop-belters of the world anymore? I’m not convinced. Will she go emo, or gritty? Will she try country again? My vote is some kind of wacky Vegas variety show shenanigans. She could just wear outfits for two hours and sing “Public Affair” and that would be enough, honestly.
