Chastain is at TIFF promoting Memory, which she has been very VERY clear in pointing out is an independent film and not one bound by the SAG-AFTRA strike. I also think she’s been bringing out the big guns — here, and in Venice — very specifically to remind everyone what they’re missing with the A-listers staying home:
