As you can see from the step-and-repeat, this ensemble was worn at the Saturn Awards, which — per their Wiki — honors “the best in science fiction, fantasy, horror, and other genres belonging to genre fiction in film, television, home media releases, and live stage productions.” Don’t ask me how dramatic weather patterns exactly fit into that, just know that I feel in my bones that they do. (I guess there is plenty of Dramatic Weather in all of the aforementioned genres, after all.)
Honestly, this is fun. It’s almost a (VERY EXPENSIVE) Halloween costume but still far enough away to still have plausible deniability on that front. Given that I feel like Jennifer Tilly seems like a hurricane of a personality — in a good way — it also feels on brand. Five stars!
