Well, certainly, running an errand in your bathrobe and PJs is probably the most relatable a Manhattan-based celeb has ever been. But Jennifer Lawrence apparently wasn't just dashing out for some bodega sandwiches; she and Kim Kardashian went out on the town in matching reindeer pajamas and brown velour robes. For... reasons. Which I assume have to do with promoting Skims's holiday gear and the fact that they don't just make shapewear and merkins and nipple bras. I had no idea these two are even pals – JustJared claims they're "longtime friends," but ARE they?!? I feel like this is brand new information to me, to the point where it's so strange to me that Jennifer Lawrence – who keeps to herself when she's not promoting a movie – would do this. Maybe it's going to be a reciprocal PR arrangement wherein Kim boosts Jennifer's new hair care line. I sort of enjoy the idea of them as friends? Kim has a core group of friends from when she was a kid, but we don't see her too much with pals that are also celebrities, and – much like when she married Kanye – it's probably nice to have someone in her circle who understands navigating all of this and isn't also related to her. And J.Law just comes across like a chaos agent who would make for a spicy night out. Go forth in your robes, I guess, ladies. It's weird, but I've seen worse.
