I am so bored. Jared is working his usual refried Jesus aesthetic, mixed with a dash of Willy Loman, and Greta Lee is dressed to run straight to the airport and catch a plane. They split off from Jodie Turner-Smith, and that’s for the best, because she hired Law Roach to style her; we’ve seen the first result of that, and here are the next three:
This still is from an Instagram video she posted. Law grabbed her catsuit from a 1999 Givenchy by Alexander McQueen show, and the circuitry is definitely apropos for a Tron movie. It would have been a bit MORE effective had Law not already used one of these on Zendaya when she hit the road for Dune 2, a look that sort of… 70 percent worked as styled but seemed like a weird choice for that movie. It makes more sense here, especially if the original movie really was the inspiration for that collection. Jodie looks phenomenal in it. I’m surprised they haven’t collaborated sooner (have they?), because she is exactly the kind of person Law must love to dress: tall, lithe, adventurous, and owns the camera.
Jodie also busted out some Schiaparelli armor:
She looks awesome in this, too, but I can’t help imagining what could be if they’d paired it with more than just Spanx. I had hoped we as a society would get past the need to wish for bottoms, but I apparently not. I hope pants feel appreciated by the rest of us, at least.
This is Greta Constantine. It looks like it was born on her body for an advertorial; if she hasn’t been signed by them, she should be. And now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to drop and do some pushups. See you in ten. Or five. Okay, make it two. One and a half?
