Did you know that The Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery doesn’t even come out until Nov. 23? And that’s just for a one-week limited theatrical release, after which time it’s not viewable until it hits Netflix on December 23? So… why are we doing all this now?!? Are we going to do it all AGAIN later? I guess they must assume they’ll do the pre-awards run of Q&As and panels and such, and that might serve as a secondary press tour, but this still feels like an awful lot of wasted early buzz. I suppose if it sells advance tickets to the one-week release — and theaters sell out — then it’ll all be worth it and they might add a week or two, but I feel like it shouldn’t require reading Variety every day to understand what’s going on with this. I sincerely thought it was coming out this weekend, and I DO read Variety most days. Anyway, here are the four leads in a series of outfits. Woohoo!
