I was flummoxed for why Jennifer Lopez was photographed in New York in full formalwear without us having any pics of her at an actual event, but then I learned a) there was a big 98th birthday celebration for John Kander of Kander and Ebb, and she performed because she’s in the new Kiss of the Spider Woman, which also explains THIS bit of literal dressing; and b) she’s hosting the American Music Awards on Monday night, so we have quite a bit more of this to come.
