WWD referred to a lot of these dresses as “familiar,” and they seem to agree with me that this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Nobody does it better, after all, not even James Bond. I gather there was a technical malfunction that might have added a dimension to the live experience, but it’s the photos that live forever, and they’re just fine without bells and whistles.
