I don’t know why I started referring to this as the Hemsworth Edition, given that Tessa Thompson’s presence in it also delights me. I think it’s because “Hemsworth” is the more evocative word. “Thompson Edition” could be, I don’t know, Kenan Thompson, or The Thompson Twins, or Lea Thompson, or Emma Thompson or — WAIT. HOLD THE PHONE. Emma Thompson IS, INDEED, IN THIS MOVIE ALSO. Hang on, can we get an all-female Women In Black: Thompson Edition, where it’s just Tessa and Emma and Lea rolling around and blasting rude aliens? We’re already two-thirds of the way there. And I don’t need to exclude: The Thompson Twins can lend some music, and I will never be mad at a cameo from Kenan. Let’s make this happen, everyone.
