Leaving aside the huge issue of Whatever Happened To Hilary Swank? Can We Really Blame Her Career Tanking On That Time She Went to a Dictator’s Birthday Party? which floats through my brain literally every single time I see her (I am obsessed with what happened to her, and I don’t entirely know why), she looks good in this. She looks ready to stroll into some power actresses luncheon hosted by Variety and held at the Beverly Hilton and hold her own in a chat with Reese Witherspoon about the best jams in Ojai, and whether dating/marrying your agent is great multi-tasking or just ends with you having to go to a LOT more boring parties, and how early is too early to call a production meeting when you’re a Super Sleeper who only needs four hours. And that’s a start.
