There was a lot of juice bubbling up on this show, but instead of fermenting into some sweet, sweet, mind-scrambling hooch, it just ended up spilling all over the rug and making a mess. Translation: Despite some basically adorable soapy elements, I was super disappointed in aspects of this episode. The order was cut to 21 instead of the usual 22, and although I’m sure this isn’t the case, it sure felt like it happened in the middle of planning, writing, shooting, and/or editing this finale. Everything felt hurried, or like important scenes were chopped out of the show because they ran out of time, and other things were turned straight up to eleven that I think would’ve been better festering. Let’s discuss.
