We’ve been getting promotional emails for stuff for Valentine’s Day for months now and it was only yesterday when my reaction wasn’t, “UM EXCUSE ME THAT’S AGES FROM NOW!!!!” It is in fact in two and a half weeks. My belief, as always, it that while you should definitely get lil’ treats for those that you love — your partner, your kids, your parents! — you are also allowed to buy a Valentine’s Day gift for yourself. This is also the annual post where I try to talk one of you into buying a heart-shaped Le Creuset so I can live vicariously through you.
