I understand if you don’t feel ready to transition to Christmas stuff yet — I get it! I personally don’t go Christmas-y until after Thanksgiving — but red alert: The first day of your Advent calendar is going to be pried open two and a half weeks from now and if you want one, you should order it soon! Look at you, all organized.

I love an advent calendar, and I love writing our advent calendar posts. (This is last year’s!) It seems like this might be a holiday season where much of Fug Nation could use a tiny treat every day for about a month, and I am happy to help. Obviously, one of the most iconic advent calenders out there is the Liberty London beauty one; I’ve purchased this as a gift for several years and I can therefore vouch for it. It is spendy and it is GOOD. (The men’s version also looks solid, frankly.) (They’ve also got a 12-day jewelry advent calendar.) If you’re in a British Department Store mood, Selfridges has a ton of advent calendars, including one that’s just mini mince pies, and one that’s all malt balls!

If you’re in the mood for food-related advent calendars, you are in luck, because there are a ton. Here’s one that’s all Danish licorice! How about one that’s just different caramels? It won’t surprise you to hear that Williams Sonoma is chockablock on this front, including a spice Advent calendar, a popcorn advent calendar, and the Fortnum & Mason tea advent calendar. And I’d never forget the iconic Bon Maman jam advent calendar. (The jamvent calendar?)

It probably won’t surprise you that Neiman Marcus has some FABULOUS options, including their own version of the Liberty calendar. Really need a treat? There is a La Mar advent calendar. The Jo Malone advent calendar is spendy but beautiful. So is the Molton Brown bath and body calendar. You will smell so good! Or, you know. The person for whom you bought this item. Whichever.

Are you (or whoever) more into paper products? This is an advent calendar full of fancy school/office supplies like tiny notebooks and pens and sticky notes and stamps! There are also a lot of puzzle-themed calendars, like this New Yorker mini-puzzle advent calendar, or this beautiful mini-jigsaw-a-day calendar. You could also buy this awesome National Geographic rock/fossil/mineral one, or their magic tricks advent calendar! Or one full of DINOSAURS?

How about advent calendars for your pets? Here are 24 days of treats for your dog! (I bought this one for my dog just now.) Or an advent calendar full of cat toys?! Maybe you know someone who needs 24 days of fishing lures. Or rubber duckies!

I could keep going at this for ages. Instead, I’ll just throw you to a widget of YET MORE ADVENT CALENDARS. One of them is CHEESE!
