Happy Advent Calendar Season — for me, the best time of the year! Advent calendars are a delight. A tiny present each day until Christmas, what a treat. Of course, for my money, the Liberty London Beauty Advent Calendar is the gold standard. I splashed out and purchased it for my sister last year, because her birthday is at the beginning of December, and it is AMAZING. If your Iconic British Department Store Loyalties lie with Selfridges, on the other hand, they’re selling an advent calendar of mini mince pies?!?!?!?!! How very British of them. I love it. Speaking of iconic Brits, I also kind of covet the Charlotte Tilbury 12-day advent calendar.
And if we’re getting fancy, there is the very beautiful and very $$$ Wedgwood calendar, where every day gives you a new delicate little porcelain ornament. Harry & David has a 12-day advent calendar that is all sparkling wine! Jo Malone offers a frankly beautiful advent calendar of scents. The Diptyque candle advent calendar is ICONIC and a true treat-yourself gift (or something perfect for someone who otherwise has everything). And I don’t know what’s actually in William-Sonoma’s Dolly Parton advent calendar, but that’s a ride I’m happy to take.
For your non-human beloveds, Neiman Marcus is selling a luxe-looking advent calendar of dog treats! Petsmart has an advent calendar of cat toys and it is so cute! I feel so confident that someone’s mom or sister-in-law might like the Vera Bradley 12-day ornament advent calendar.
