Hey guys! Another Friday, another giveaway — and we’re very excited about this one! In honor of the paperback release of J Courtney Sullivan’s The Engagements, which we gave out last summer in hardback, and which I LOVE (it was probably my favorite book that I read all last summer), we’re giving away both a prize pack that includes a signed copy of the paperback, and this gorgeous Marissa Alperin LOVE necklace:

The deets: It’s one of the designer’s best-selling necklaces, a 18kt yellow gold-plated silver with cubic zirconia piece, and the chain is quite ample at 16 inches long. Here’s another look:

It’s really lovely (no pun intended), and it would lovely on you.

As for the other part of the giveaway, I adored this book. What’s it about? Behold:

The bestselling author of Maine returns with an exhilarating novel about Frances Gerety, the real pioneering ad woman who coined the famous slogan “A Diamond is Forever,” and four unique marriages that will test how true—or not—those words might be. Evelyn has been married to her husband for forty years, but their son’s messy divorce has put them at rare odds; James, a beleaguered paramedic, has spent most of his marriage haunted by his wife’s family’s expectations; Delphine has thrown caution to the wind and left a peaceful French life for an exciting but rocky romance in America; and Kate, partnered with Dan for a decade, has seen every kind of wedding and has vowed never, ever, to have one of her own. As the stories connect to each other and to Frances’s legacy in surprising ways, The Engagements explores the complicated ins and outs of relationships, then, now, and forever.

It’s just so good. It’s the perfect book to read by the pool and then clutch to your chest when you’re done because you loved it so much. It has everything: Love! Advertising! French people! Diamonds! I love a sprawling romantic tale, and this is a grand one.

THE TASK: I will pick the winner from the comments by random draw. But to keep it fun, please comment with the two celebs whom you most hope announce their surprising engagement this summer.

THE RULES: All entries must be posted in the comments of this post by 9 p.m. Pacific time on Tuesday (given that Monday is a holiday in the United States). GOOD LUCK!
