This is perfect if you’re going over to Betty Draper’s to smoke some cigarettes and complain about your husband. (Although, of course, the capris of the Mad Men era were generally sported with a flatter shoe.) I truly don’t know if I’m ready for the capri pant to come back with such a vengance, but I’m not actively MAD about it. It’s just funny that we’ve been writing this blog long enough for stuff that folks wore in 2004 are back out and about today. Where are the going out tops?! The huge belts cinching nothing?! I’d ask where the Steve Madden slides are but I literally saw them in the wild yesterday when I was buying a coffee so I know!
I just noticed that the buttons on this shorts suit are a rainbow. That is charming:
