Both of these tees are 1990s-era Chloe, back when Stella McCartney was their creative designer — the same collection, actually, from which this look hailed. I kinda like them, but also think that top one would look so much better with jeans rather than with flimy tap-pants. I know filmy tap-pants are happening right now but I stand by my feeling that her entire look there is giving The Fire Alarm Went Off At My Hotel And I Could Not Find My Pants!!!!!!

This is likely not what JPG was going for, but they remind me of that time in the late 1990s — so, on theme! — when Gap had leather pants in hot pink and light blue and we all lost our minds for them. A simpler time! No, sincerely, it really WAS a simpler time. I would have kept the pants if I’d known they’d end up going for $100 on Poshmark. An investment!
