This is a neat idea: Harry Lambert put Emma Corrin in an outfit from Central Saint Martins student Joshua Ewusie’s final collection (I assume he’s technically an alum now). To read more about Ewusie’s inspiration, click here; he’s the first one listed in the program. It’s generous and great to elevate a new designer in this way, especially on a client who can pull off quite a lot more than most.
They look a tiny bit like they just emerged from a day of shooting a Gossip Girl movie based on the Psycho Killer version of the book, in which retells the story with everyone murdering each other and Jenny Humphrey eating a lot of bloody raw meat. Sidebar: The existence of that book is one of the weirdest things to emerge from the Young Adult novel craze; it makes me wonder if the author grew to hate her characters so much that she actually took it out on them. I think, more so than a novel plot, Gossip Girl: Psycho Killer actually would be an amusing theme for a fashion show. Get on it, Central Saint Martins Class of 2025.
