Well, this movie bombed in the U.S., which is a bummer. As EW noted, even if it’s bad, plenty of lousy movies scare up big box office receipts, so it’s too bad this one didn’t get more people in seats. At least the Terminator sequel did abysmally, so HOPEFULLY — as that EW piece also posits — it’s reboot fatigue at work and we will be spared the finger-pointing at women that usually comes with results like that. The three leads and their director/Bosley are still supporting it, though, so maybe they can scare up the big bucks overseas.
