I was trying to figure out what Diane is promoting, and it appears she’s in In the Fade, a German film which IMDb describes thusly: “Katja’s life collapses after the death of her husband and son in a bomb attack. After a time of mourning and injustice, Katja seeks revenge.” This is the film for which she won Best Actress at Cannes, so…get ready for some Kruger this awards season, potentially (I have my doubts that the Academy will nominate her for a film which isn’t in English, but I suspect the film itself will be nominated). That’s exciting! Also exciting is the news I stumbled upon, namely that she and Jason Wu have created a capsule collection together. That’s a smart duo — she has had some of her best looks in Jason Wu (like this) — and the collection is appealing. So, we’ve much to discuss, is what I am saying.
