If you’re wondering about the logistics: A few people did pull double duty at this and the BAFTAs, and they did so via a satellite party in London — so, nobody flew between the two shows, that I know of, which is… frankly something I’m surprised someone didn’t attempt, and yet for the sake of our planet, thrilled they resisted. Where black was the dominant outfit color at the BAFTAs, metallics made a really strong showing here, and I’m so glad they did. Sparkle for those critics, my dears. This could turn out to be the new Golden Globes, so party accordingly. Oh and P.S., if you’re keeping score, Kristen Stewart did NOT wear Chanel… but, womp-womp, it’s because she wore custom Dolce & Gabbana. The thud is real.
