Chloe Sevigny stars in Havisham, a new HBO Max show about literature’s most famous jilted bride in which she becomes a sassy gal-about-town, and starts her own agency to rescue women from bad marriages to stupid men. There will be a LOT of scenes where she walks past a candle, or a fire, and everyone collectively holds their breath. And then eventually it’ll be so popular that she gets her own honor from the Kennedy Center and we come full circle.
