It’s only right that Variety’s Power of Women event brought together Lorelai Gilmore and Sookie St. James, and it warmed my cold heart. It makes me want the two of them to do a road-trip show. They don’t have to be their characters; Lauren Graham and Melissa McCarthy as themselves would be compulsively watchable. Someone please give them an end point and a very suspect map and turn them loose.
