Because if you ran into them on the street, you would not think, “Oh, look, it’s comedian Jennifer Saunders and actress Joanna Lumley.” You would choke out the words, “PATSY EDINA OMG IT’S LACROIX DARLING.” (As for whether any of this is Lacroix, darling, I don’t yet know.
