As I think I’ve mentioned here before, I love planning a vacation. It is half the fun, as far as I am concerned. I enjoy cross-referencing TripAdvisor and Reddit and the Rick Steves forums. I love researching hotels and restaurants and activities! And, crucially, also planning my outfits. (I know there is a subset of travelers who don’t ever buy anything new for their trips and, friends, I admire your restraint!) I don’t like to pack too much but figuring out what to pack so I feel like I have plenty to wear is also part of the fun. I am not taking a big trip this summer, since my husband and I went to Italy last year — we’re just going down to the beach for a couple of days at some point — and that simply means I will have to live vicariously through those of you who are. Thus! This collection of items, a bunch of stuff you might want to wear when you trot off to Europe or Mexico or the lake or your local beach — or perhaps even on a theoretical emotional vacation, given how expensive the world is and, um, that Europe is running out of jet fuel.
On my end, I need to report that I am really into these pants, and these pants (on sale!), and they’d both work well for warm-weather trips. (Over at Pact, I am considering these shorts, too. I need some shorts because I have gained some perimenopause weight and several of my old ones don’t fit right anymore. I’m also tempted by the kooky ones in the widget.) I am also currently testing out this strapless bra and will report back; I know some of your travels are likely for weddings and might have Weird Bra Requirements.
