Gugu is in Fuze, a race-against-time action flick involving a bomb. This is why I learned that “fuze” is not a stupid funky spelling of “fuse,” but in fact “a device with explosive components designed to initiate a main charge,” whereas a fuse is “a cord or tube for the transmission of flame or explosion, usually consisting of cord or rope with gunpowder or high explosive spun into it.” And while both spellings can be used for either, people have preferences, and these are those preferences. Thank you, Wikipedia! We’re hugging and learning today.

Anyhoo, the outfit. I want to like it, but the top and the bottom are not speaking the same language, and the middle is trying to translate and failing. It honestly looks like she got bored and glued some sequins to her underwear and then tried to save it with one of those thermal emergency blankets from the trunk of her car.

This one is better:

Now that IS a device with explosive components (complimentary). They didn’t even NEED that weird theatrical sparkler in the back.
