Let’s get one thing straight here: Rachel Brosnahan looks flat-out great here. Dishy and sparkly and glam and perfect for the star of a big summer tentpole movie. I think she suffers sometimes because she objectively looks so good in retro styles, but I think she (understandably) wants to avoid them so she doesn’t show up places looking like Mrs Maisel. This was a stellar choice, and it’s well-styled.
On either side, we’ve got Nicholas Hoult — who has been looking very cool, and continues to do so, and who also surely decided that when you’re playing a villain, you might as well lean and go leather pants. (It’s for the best he didn’t go full leather suit.) And then there’s our Superman, David Corenswet, who is secretly wearing pinstripes and who, I think, might be a little sad he didn’t get to take this look to Wimbledon instead.
