I had a weird moment where I woefully misread my own headline as “Zendaya lost her power to Louis Vuitton,” which… obviously she will never lose her power to ANYTHING, but I do think signing a deal with LV has very occasionally landed her — out of necessity — in some worse clothes than she would otherwise wear. Luckily, she only really engages with them selectively, but like… do we think without that contract that she still would have worn a beige diaper with static cling?
