If this outfit looks familiar to you, it’s because T. Hids wore this exact look this past weekend at Wimbledon. I love the idea that he saw some of those pics come back and thought, “damn, I nailed this. Let’s not mess with success, Hiddleston!” and just put it on again. And he’s not wrong! He looked great then AND he looks great now! He’s at the British Museum here — another British institution, really — to promote Pompeii: Out of Time with Tom Hiddleston, his new NatGeo/Disney+ docu-series about The Clash. jk obvs it’s about Pompeii. I’ve had this on my calendar for a couple of weeks because I’m a nerd who loves ancient history but also I think we all need to acknowledge that, as dapper as he looks here, this IS a missed opportunity to have him show up in a toga.
