Dear Jessica Chastain: Thank you for being employed on Broadway during this time, because without you moseying in and out of the theater, I’m not sure what we’d have to talk about right now (has anyone ever before said, “Thank God for the People’s Choice Awards,” and MEANT IT?).
Also, you continue to look adorable in your casual (or “casual,” as my own version of casual DREAMS of being this “casual”) clothes, and WHAT an enviable rotating cabal of purses and sunglasses you have. I know we just suggested that you needed a bit more help in piecing things together, but let’s limit that to your red-carpet work, because frankly, the rest of it is really nice. Maybe it’d shake something loose if you start thinking of the red carpet as just another sidewalk.
