The above is an outfit from Louis Vuitton’s spring 2026 show, which is how I know it’s a dress and not secretly pants — though I was concerned. Pants would have been bonkers, like a ghillie suit for if you were trying to hide in a landscape painting. It’s also very easily disturbed; I think her left hand on her hip is sliding the top part askew enough to create the hole in the middle, which wasn’t present on the runway. I appreciate her selling this to us as hard as possible — that’s what she does best — but it’s a LOT for me. However, it’s better than this silken Maison Margiela prison:
