This is going to be a brutal Emmy season, simply because both Severance and The Pitt are so richly deserving and I’m sure The White Lotus will elbow its way in there too — and that doesn’t even take into account The Last Of Us, which I gather has been up-and-down, but is still awards bait. I’m just excited that we get to see our pals from Pittsburgh Something-Something Hospital (okay, I looked it up; Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital, which… aren’t all hospitals medical?) dressed up and playing themselves.
