I wish I had a better full photo of this, but alas, this is the only solo shot we had where she is standing AND you can see her feet. I love the red and the blue-and-white skirt. My question to you is: Do the heavy black accessories work for you? I think I could keep the belt if she’d worn strappy black shoes, and not those thick leather duffel bags on her shins. Both together feel like they’re almost squelching the early summer evening vibe here. What would you do instead? I guess we don’t know what horrors lurk underneath; maybe the waistband of this skirt secretly has a flea problem. Maybe it needs something. Would you change the color? Would brown work? Should she have stuck to one of the three hues already in the outfit, or explored metallics? Or did I have it right with the shoe swap? Go forth and style her, friends. Make that skirt proud.
