Time obviously has its Time 100 event, but this year added the awkwardly named Time 100 Next, to honor the people it thinks will… what, eventually graduate to the Varsity league of 100-ness, I guess? It’s a nice way to recognize more levels of contribution, but also, someone please freely explain to me why Aly Raisman (and her cohorts) couldn’t already have been in the Time 100 because holy cats, the bravery of those women. ANYWAY. This is a small handful of the attendees, partly because not all the ones we know went — Henry Golding seems not to have realized how badly people need to lay eyes on his soothing face — but the full list is here, with write-ups and all.
