Lord Of The Rings: The War Of The Rohirrim is an animated prequel, and I do not speak Tolkien but many of you do, so here: “A sudden attack by Wulf, a clever and ruthless Dunlending lord seeking vengeance for the death of his father, forces Helm Hammerhand, the King of Rohan, and his people to make a daring last stand in the ancient stronghold of the Hornburg.” Sure! “Helm Hammerhand of the Hornburg” is quite the tongue-twister. None of the cast is the same except for some narration from Miranda Otto (Eowyn), and a posthumous use of Christopher Lee’s voice from an outtake from The Hobbit, but a few of them popped by to show support anyway. I wish it had been a BIGGER reunion — Liv Tyler, where art thou? Viggo, Orlando, Elijah, whither?!? — but they got Cate and that’s honestly pretty good.
