Select cast members from HBO’s current big thing (The White Lotus) and next one up (The Last of Us) are in Sydney to promote both shows. I will put the full photo ID in the photo credit, but I see Natasha Rothwell up there looking spectacular, and Leslie Bibb (whom you saw earlier today) still looks like she’s way overdressed for an outback tour. Isabela Merced up there is the one who is in The Last of Us but seems to have come dressed to be the dinnertime entertainment at a White Lotus property. It made me wonder if the next step is for these shows to merge. If ANY hotel franchise seems likely to have a murderous mushroom spore slither into its space and turn patrons into zombies, it’s that one. For some, it might be a preferable fate to what they’re currently enduring (I’m looking at several of the Ratliffs here). When Mike White is ready to close down the resort chain, he should gather an all-star season of guests and deploy The Last of White Lotus and just go absolutely ham on everyone who isn’t Belinda. She has to live forever.
(Also, I’m glad the actress who plays Pam gets to promote it in her home country**, but has anyone put out an APB on her character?!? I hope she’s off smashing Tim Ratliff’s phone with a hammer and making Gary a smoothie with the poisoned fruit.)
