This is one of those awards events where half of the attendees show up trying to look like they’re Fancy Lady Lawyers (I don’t know why. Do New York Critics really love Fancy Lady Lawyers? Actually…that tracks.) and the rest of them wear a black gown. (I know New York Critics love wearing black.) My favorite part is imagining what Al Gore and Lady Gaga are talking about. I assume he’s showing off his Jared-Leto-in-House-of-Gucci accent.
