Over the pandemic, I fell into a habit of watching a TV show on my laptop in bed right before I go to sleep. This is VERY negatively affecting my reading habits, so I need to figure that out, but it’s very positively affecting my phone addiction, because you cannot be noodling around on the phone when you’re very invested in The Sopranos in your bed in a dark room and the phone is already plugged into the wall. My rules for these pre-sleep shows is that they must be INCREDIBLY diverting, which is why I watched The Sopranos. I also watched Better Call Saul, re-watched Mad Men and just watched all of Ozark. I need to note that Ozark gave me literal wake-up-gasping nightmares so….this habit is also probably ruining my sleep. WHATEVER. We all do what we can to get by. I finished Ozark on Sunday and now I am watching Severance, which isn’t a very soothing pre-sleep treat either. And ergo, when these pictures from the Emily in Paris Paleyfest popped up this morning, I said, “EUREKA!” This show looks diverting and entertaining and will not give me nightmares about the cartel being after me….I assume? Anyway…the outfits will be fun.
