Sofia Carson Did Not Do The Latin Grammys Halfway

Sofia has been BUSY. Her latest stop was the Latin Grammys, and it seems like she got there quite early — with good reason, as she needed the carpet to be empty enough to work this enormous pink ball gown. I’m of many minds about it. It is a LOT, but I also think that if it hadn’t been, it wouldn’t have worked. Imagine it without the train, and it’s just a twee, ruffly, high-necked and slightly itchy-looking frock with a well-made skirt. It almost needed to go that far beyond. Because now, from some angles, it has comedic value:

And then from some it is just pure photogenic awesomeness:

I mean. I don’t like the dress on many of its aesthetic merits, but admit it: THAT is an ENTRANCE.
